Three singular houses, each over 300 years old, remain from the harbor operation buildings along the shores of the Golden Horn. Under the leadership of İBB Miras and with architectural design by FREA, they have become urban attractions under the identity of “Haliç Art.” The Haliç Art logo was designed as a continuation of İBB’s ongoing logo designs that frame the word “art.” The historical leaks of the golden horn reference the typographic choice of HALİÇ. Due to the need to keep design and production times to a minimum, the physical counterparts of the communication elements may not be clean cut, but it is commendable that the identity of a structure is not limited to pure architecture and has been realized in practice.
